Rev. Brandan Scott Eddy

Pastor - Head of Staff

The Rev. Brandan Scott Eddy is Pastor and Head of Staff at Schoharie United Presbyterian Church. Born into a military family, Rev. Eddy moved around a lot in his youth. Settling in Belleville, Illinois in 1995, a suburb of St. Louis, he grew up primarily in that area. Graduating High School in 2002, he went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps, in which he found God's calling to ordained ministry, passionate about sharing a more inclusive message of Grace and Reconciliation, especially to those who thought it previously out of reach. Rev. Eddy has received degrees in B.S. of Computer Science, and a Masters of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Always a student at heart, Rev. Eddy is continuing his education in the areas of Pastoral Care and Counseling, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling, and Sign Language Interpreting. Rev. Eddy also currently moonlights as a Resident Chaplain Student in the Clinical Pastoral Education Program at Albany Medical Center, in Albany NY.

In his free time, Rev. Eddy enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. Some of his favorite hobbies includes music, especially Irish Folk, currently learning the Uilleann Pipes (Irish Bag Pipes), video games, going to the movies, doing something outdoors, or just taking a ride on the motorcycle.

Rev. Eddy's office hours are Wednesdays & Fridays 12 p.m. to 2:30p.m. and by appointment. To request an appointment or to check availability, please contact the Church office on our Contact Page.
